5 Pakistani Makeup Brands That Own The Game.

When it comes to beauty, Pakistan is seriously upping its game. Makeup just is not confined to fashion shows, events or major outings anymore. Makeup has become a lifestyle in Pakistan and a lot of brands have started noticing it. Although, Pakistan has a long way to go with its own beauty brands but there are cosmetic brands in Pakistan that have become absolute game changers in the world of makeup.

1.  Sweet Touch England.

This is one brand that has been in Pakistan ever since I can remember. Every time I used to go grocery shopping, I used to drag my mother to the Sweet Touch kiosk and buy their nail colours. They were not expensive at all and the brand had a wide range of colours that would always lure me in. Coming to the last year of high school, a friend of mine always had a smudge free eyeliner till the end of the day and I was always awed. She let out the secret that it was Sweet Touch's black eyeliner. And I have been a convert ever since. Their lip sticks have a wide colour palette and their shade 786 is a very very exact dupe of Kat Von D's Lolita.  Their compact powders have been famously used in events and on models!

2.  Atiqa Odho.

Atiqa Odho is one of the leading actresses in the Pakistani television industry. She came up with her own brand of cosmetics. She has been working in the fashion and makeup industry since the past 27 years and definitely knows her work! I remember buying her blushes at the kiosk every time I needed new makeup, which was at least every week, by the way. Their blush 'flamingo' will always be my favourite colour! It was the perfect pink that suits all kinds of skin tones. I particularly remember a golden lipstick that I bought as an impulse buy and it works extremely well to get that pout perfect lip!

3.  Color Studio.

After sweet touch's nail colours, I would always end up buying Color Studio's nail colours. And they came up with such good colours and were always up to the trend. Now, Color Studio has a good range of cosmetics, ranging from foundations, lipsticks, nail colours, blushes, makeup brushes and everything you need to up your makeup game. Their BB cream is a game changer. I have tried a lot of bb creams and nothing comes close to the performance of this bb cream.

4.  Luscious Cosmetics.

I remember when the Luscious Cosmetic kiosk went up in stores and I completely flipped. Although their range was very very limited at that time but I had never been this excited! Luscious cosmetics have come up with such good range of cosmetics, that I find everyone raving about it. Their contour kit was the talk of the town and when they hit the town with their liquid lipsticks, everyone knew it was going to change the Pakistani makeup industry. Their eye palettes have been approved by a lot of makeup artists and beauty bloggers.

5.  Masarrat Misbah.

Both, the makeup brand and the person behind the brand are very close to my heart! Masarrat misbah started her career as a beautician but slowly moved on to help the victims of acid attacks and she has never looked back! She started the Smile Again foundation that has helped acid victims regain their confidence, helped them get required surgeries and literally helped them in all walks of life. She is a true inspiration. Masarrat Misbah has used her more than 35 years of experience and created Masarrat Misbah cosmetics. They are the only halal certified makeup in Pakistan and are next to none! Their Silk foundation has been a hit amongst their customers and certainly me. I have given up all the foundations to commit to this foundation and I don't regret one bit! Their Liquid lipsticks, blushers. lash enhancers and their eye pigments are seriously amazing!
