I love winter to no bounds! To snuggling up in cosy clothing and the coffee binge and just being lazy all day is the best thing ever.

I am not a fan of peeling off layers so I live in layers all the time. And obviously, I prefer pain over comfort. You will now never see me in heels anymore (I got lost at Canary wharf in 4 inch heels and that was the last of heels in my wardrobe). Sneakers, trainers, flats, are all my thing now.

Metallic shoes are all the rage right now. I got in the game before they were main stream and I loved them! These platform vintage shoes are the bomb! I have now started to wear a little platform in my shoes so I do not look tiny all the time. And these are just the right ones!

Patch work made it big this year! And you could see it on literally every piece of clothing in store. I still haven't managed to get hold of any good patch work jeans but I am definitely going to order the ones mentioned above.

Enamel pins were also big this year! and I loved pimping up my denim jackets with these pins. But since the weather has changed big time, I used these enamel pins to vamp up my cross body bag. I have a classic Chanel bag that I love to bits but I have used it to a bit of extreme and it needed a little change. So, I got funky enamel pins from Primark and totally changed the look of my bag!

I have such a monochrome wardrobe and I desperately need a change. Even though I have been looking into dark colours this year but at least the colours are a break from the greys and blacks. I am totally loving maroons and deep reds this season! They look absolutely chic!

Double breasted/military jackets have ALWAYS been my favourite. Every time I go shopping, I always look around for such coats. They look so flattering on any figure, whether you button it up or leave it open! They have an amazing fit and always go with any casual and formal outfit!

What are your thoughts on comfort trends that have made big this season and are going to stay strong next year too?

  1. I tend to always go back to my faux leathers and fur come this time of year. It's certainly a comfort of mine x

  2. The best thing about winter time for me is cable knit jumpers, especially in your typical autumn colours like brown and wine. I've been loving my faux leather books with studs as well just to give everything a bit of edge

  7. Love this winter edit! I'm personally all about leopard print and chunky knits this season, but I would love to find a good pair of metallic shoes. Although let's be honest, they might have to be heels for me - sorry! Ha!
